Head Coach: Kim Johansen
Kim played collegiate volleyball at both Boise and Weber State University and was named Big Sky Conference player of the week. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. In high school, Kim was coached in Nebraska by Gwen Egbert, a nationally recognized high school volleyball coach who also trained volleyball Olympians Jordan Larson and Allison Weston. Coach Egbert instilled correct technique, skills and comprehensive strategies that led to Kim being a part of three High School Division A State Championships.
Kim has been married to her husband, David, for 11 years and they have 4 incredible children. They have lived in the Valley for 7 years. They love hiking and doing anything outside. Kim runs a photography business, Live in This Truth Photography. Her hobbies include, pottery, painting, reading and she recently started taking piano lessons but please don’t ask her to play anything!! Sabrina was born and raised in Wyoming where she played volleyball in grade school. After graduating at Evanston High, she played for the College of Eastern Utah. She married her husband Jake and has 5 kids who were all born in a different state or country (Utah, Ohio, Texas, Germany, and Colorado). They now have a small farm with 3 horses, 2 pigs, 13 chickens, 2 cats, and 3 dogs. She loves the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. She is passionate about volleyball and bettering the lives of youth through teaching it’s skills.
